New Palm Devices
News: With regard to new palm devices with the non-volatile
memory, AltaPoint Palm was originally written for volatile memory. If
using a new Palm device with non-volatile memory (Treo 650, Palm T5), we
recommend limiting your database size to avoid using most of the
non-volatile memory. See
Palm(tm) Article. AltaPalm will work on the new devices but use more
than 3x as much memory.
Palm devices with volatile memory work just as well, but
require a backup to avoid losing valuable data.
